When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself.

why sports and remedial massage?
Sports and remedial massage has a fundamentally different approach compared to other types of massage. Sports massage effectively uses the therapists body weight enabling them to provide a much deeper massage. Remedial massage uses advanced techniques such as soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and muscle energy techniques to strengthen and realign tissues that have become dysfunctional through inactivity, poor posture or poor breathing, over use or injury. It is results based soft tissue therapy designed with athletes in mind, but beneficial for every type of person out there.
why CORE bodywork?
Lisl has trained extensively with Noah Karrasch, Advanced Certified Rolfer, and regards Noah as her biggest mentor. She is one of six practitioners in the UK certified at CORE Bodywork Level II. CORE* Bodywork (*Coax Order, Restore Energy), like Rolfing, is fascial release work, designed to free holding patterns through the body to alleviate pain and create energy flow through the system. CORE Bodywork techniques use hands-on manipulation of the body's connective tissue designed to enhance posture, breathing and freedom of movement. Often performed through clothing or towels, bodywork tends to use little or no medium such as oil or lotion.
Lisl's treatment approach is a rare 'hybrid' of active CORE bodywork and remedial massage. Your body is never the same on any two days, so your treatment shouldn't be either. Tailoring each session to what is required on the day, she gives a bespoke therapy to every client, every time. Lisl's philosophy is to treat the root cause, not the symptoms. (read testimonials)
